"Let me preface this review with a qualifier. I’ve run the contractor gauntlet over the past 2 years. I’ve replaced my dock, I added a screened in patio, i replaced my roof, had my pool resurfaced and re-tiled, I had storm windows and impact doors installed, I had the cement patio around my pool resurfaced and also had my driveway torn out and replaced. I mention this because I have personally been involved with numerous contractors of all types, involving every area of my home. As most know, there’s a wide quality margin between them. This paver project was the last in line (for now) and at this point I’m pretty seasoned in the process. I got a few quotes for a paver project at my home (and a couple companies who simply never responded at all). For my paver project, I chose Beast Coast. They were not the least expensive, but very competitive in their pricing and you get what you pay for. I chose them initially due to my interactions with Nicky, one of the owners. He’s a young guy, which isn’t always a plus in terms of experience. However, Nicky was great. Right out of the gate, he was friendly, professional, provided great info, knowledgeable, obviously interested in gaining my business, had great communication and really just delivered on all fronts. He has ample experience to back it all up as well. This was the primary deciding factor in choosing them. A 5 figure project demands a 5 figure level of professionalism and that’s where Nicky stood apart. So for a little more money, I made my decision on that level of confidence. It was the right choice. From start to finish, the project went as planned and on time. I was introduced to Will Murphy, who was the project lead on-site. Trust me when I say that Will should be requested by name if you go with these guys. He’s great. Super knowledgeable, great guy, rolls up his sleeves and gets personally involved in the work daily. Lots of experience and very willing to make needed adjustments on the fly. With any construction project, there must be a point person to supervise the day to day. Will is the guy you want for this. He’s as good as they get. Leo leads the largely Spanish speaking crew. He’s all business and his crew gets things done. They were on time every single day, worked hard, they cleaned up, reasonably, after each day. Though I didn’t have a lot of interaction with Leo, like Nicky and Will, he’s definitely experienced and very professional. Perfect guy for his job. The project was completed as agreed to and I’m very happy with the results. I have other areas I may be looking to add pavers (they do more than just pavers by the way) and if that day comes, Beast Coast will be hearing from me. I’ve referred other contractors to friends and family who followed through with my suggestions, who were equally as pleased with the results they got. I can add Beast Coast Hardscapes to that list as well. I’d recommend them without hesitation"
